Nd-YAG Laser

A laser that opens a cloudy membrane that sometimes develops after cataract surgery.

Once a cataract is removed, it is gone for good, but there is a thin membrane inside of the eye that can become cloudy after cataract surgery and it can seem like the cataract has returned. However, a YAG laser treatment can open the membrane and restore clarity.

YAG treatments are very easy to undergo. The laser pulses create no sensation and in a matter of seconds the membrane is opened and the vision is restored.
